The Bergen County Crash Investigation unit was called to the scene of a crash that involved a motorcycle on a roadway in Waldwick on Friday morning.
According to a preliminary investigation, the crash occurred around 2 a.m. in the northbound lanes of NJ-17.
Police say emergency responders found a seriously injured male lying on the ground after being ejected from his bike shortly after their arrival.
EMS transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital where he was listed in serious condition, according to police.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
