Police are searching for a woman wanted for stealing sneakers in Bloomfield.
Police said that an officer received a call from the Modell’s located at 244 Bloomfield Avenue on a report of shoplifting.
According to police, the manager stated that an unknown African American female and a child walked into the store attempting to return items but the items could not be returned at the time.
The suspect then walked over to the sneaker area and took a pair of blue Adidas Cue Star Flo's and departed the store without paying for the sneakers.
Police say that the sneakers are valued at $70.00.
This incident is currently under investigation.
