There were no injuries reported in a shots-fired incident that occurred near a housing complex in Newark’s lower West Ward this afternoon.
According to police, just before 1 p.m., armed suspects inside a car repeatedly fired shots from the sunroof at the Georgia King Village Housing Development before speeding away from the scene.
Police arrived and found just under a dozen shell casings, but after searching the area, no victims were located.
Authorities are looking for a white 4-door Mazda, occupied by 3-4 black males, that sped from the scene immediately after the shooting.
The suspects remain at-large.
