Passaic County authorities announced that on Saturday at approximately 10:45 p.m., police officers on patrol responded to the area of 70 Rosa Parks Boulevard in the City of Paterson in response to hearing gunshots.
Upon their arrival, officers located the victim, Mr. James Timmons, 42 years old from Paterson, lying in the street with apparent gunshot wounds.
Police say Mr. Timmons was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, where he was pronounced deceased at approximately 11:11 p.m.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
