The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit has announced the arrest of two suspects wanted for gunning down a child in Jersey City in early July.
In the statement, Hudson officials said they charged a 19-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man in the July 6th fatal shooting of a 17-year-old Tyeah Garner of Jersey City.
Members of the Jersey City Police Department responded to shots fired in the area of Rutgers Avenue and New Street in Jersey City.
Responding officers found Garner with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Garner was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased at 4:36 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7.
