Police reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident that occurred on a street in Newark's North Ward on Wednesday morning.
According to police, at approximately 12:07 a.m., residents in the area of 6th Avenue and North 13th Street dialed 911 after hearing multiple gun blasts in the neighborhood.
Police officers arrived at the scene found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after searching the area, no victims were found according to reports.
Police say they extended the crime scene after locating additional shell casing in the neighborhood.
The suspect remains at-large.
