Woodbridge Police are investigating a pedestrian strike that injured a person on a highway in the Township Monday morning
Police said at approximately 1:45 a.m., emergency responders rushed to the 900 block of Route 1&9 to investigate reports of a pedestrian strike.
Upon arrival, rescue crews found an unidentified person suffering severe injuries after several cars struck the individual.
Police say the victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment and remain in critical condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
