UPDATE: Three Injured in Paterson Shooting

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora announce that at approximately 9:09 p.m. members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of 10th Avenue and East 26th Street in Paterson on a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival responding officers discovered a potential crime scene and a 35-year-old male Newark resident, a 35-year-old male Paterson resident, and a 58-year-old male Paterson resident, who each sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds.

The victims were immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey for treatment.

The 35-year-old male Paterson resident and the 58-year-old male Paterson resident are in critical condition.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
