Police negotiators and crisis counselors were successfully able to talk a man down from the top level of a parking garage after he attempted to jump Saturday afternoon.
According to police, headquarters received several 911 calls reporting a person on top of the balcony at 95 Christopher Columbus Drive.
When emergency responses and counselors arrived, they found the emotionally distressed man in a position to jump from the balcony around 5:20 p.m. police said.
The situation was declared under control in under an hour, with no injuries reported.
