Offcials at New York Waterways are welcoming commuters back as serviced resumed early Monday morning. The first commute began at 6 a.m. with 50% capacity on all water taxis to comply with the CDC's COVID-19 rules.
Offcials released the following: "Together we have experienced a major public health crisis. It was difficult for everyone, but together we will recover. When you are ready to travel to New York City, the Ferries are running for you".
