There is a search underway for two suspects wanted for an armed carjacking that occurred in a section of Newark's West Ward Saturday.
According to a preliminary investigation, two male suspects armed with a gun approached the victim and demanded their black 2008 Mercedes Benz in the vicinity of 18th Avenue and South 17th Street around 6:45 p.m.
Police say the vehicle has a NJ license plate number "Y92-MJK".
There were no physical injuries reported.
