Jersey City Police issued an alert to surrounding neighborhoods to be on the lookout for a stolen vehicle that was taken from the city during the overnight hours.
According to preliminary reports, at approximately 1:50 a.m., police took a report of a vehicle stolen in the vicinity of Kennedy Boulevard and Sip Avenue.
Police say the vehicle is a white Honda Civic with a reported Nj license plate number, "R34-DPJ".
Officers patrolling the city said they came across the vehicle in the area of Mallory and Communipaw, but the driver sped from the scene and remained at large.
The suspects inside the vehicle are wanted for possible felonies that occurred in Hudson and Essex County.
