There is an active and ongoing investigation into a stabbing that left a male seriously injured in Englewood Sunday morning.
According to police, at approximately 1:40 a.m., police responded to the house in the 40's block of Bennett Road after receiving reports of a possible domestic violence incident.
Units arrived at the scene and found the victim suffered a stab wound in the head at that location.
Police say the injured was rushed to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment.
Englewood Police officers secured the scene and located a large kitchen knife that's believed to be the weapon. Police saidno one was allowed to enter or leave the house during the investigation, which is active and ongoing.
No immediate reports of arrests reported.
