Jersey City Police are investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred in a section of the city Tuesday night.
According to police, the shooting happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Rose and Cator avenues.
Police say a gunman exited a vehicle and began to fire rounds at unknown targets in the neighborhood.
Officers canvassed the scene and found evidence that a shooting occurred, but no victims were reported. Shell casings coming from a shotgun were recovered at that location.
Police say the suspect fled the scene and remains at-large.
