Bergen County authorities are investigating a pedestrian strike that killed a woman in Farview Wednesday morning.
According to NJ Transit officials, the woman was struck by the #166 commuter bus near the intersection of Anderson and Fairmont avenues just before 6:45 a.m.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Transit officials.
The bus was traveling from Manhattan's Port Authority terminal to Cresskill when it reportedly made a left turn at the intersection and struck the woman who was in the street.
Officials none of the 38 passengers on the bus were injured.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
