New Jersey State Police officials are investigating the cause of a crash that killed a truck driver on a highway in Ocean County Friday.
According to a statement released by police, the crash occurred at 3:24 p.m. on Interstate 195 east, in Jackson Twp.
Officials said the trailer driver overturned the vehicle near milepost 21.8 then came to rest in the center median.
Police say the truck driver sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and there were no other occupants.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
