Police are concerned that the group is beginning to form smaller groups which are heading in different locations in the downtown.

According to prosecutors in Minnesota, George Floyd died Monday in Minneapolis after a police officer knelt on his neck while he was handcuffed for nearly 8 minutes.

Authorities said the video, showing Floyd pinned under the officer as he pleaded for air, ignited calls across the country for the four officers involved in that arrest to be charged with Floyd's death.

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey immediately announced the termination of all four officers.

Prosecutor's charged Derek Chauvin, 44, with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. He was also accused of ignoring another officer at the scene who expressed concerns about Floyd as he lay handcuffed on the ground, pleading that he could not breathe.

Authorities said Floyd was being held on suspicion of using a counterfeit bill at a grocery store.
