Police in Passaic are investigating an attempted robbery at a gas station in the city Tuesday evening.
Police say a male is wanted in connection to an attempted robbery at the Delta Gas station located at 145 Lexington. The incident happened shortly before 5 p.m.
According to police, the attendant was pumping gas when the suspect came up behind him and used a taser in an attempt to get money.
The victim resisted and the attacker ran off empty-handed.
Police say the suspect is 6'1" Hispanic or Arabic, who was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt.
There were no serious injuries reported.
