A woman suffered non-life threatening injuries after gunfire rang out in a neighborhood in Paterson Sunday evening.
According to police, suspect armed with an AK-47 pulled up in a vehicle and began to fire multiple rounds in the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Van Houten Street shortly before 10 p.m.
Police say when officers arrive at the scene, they found shell casings but no victims located.
At approximately 10:10 p.m., officials at the St. Joseph's Medical Center contacted police when the victim entered the emergency room suffering a bully wound in the leg.
Police say the suspects sped away from the scene and remain at-large.
There were no other injuries reported.
