There is an active search underway for a woman who left her home today and did not return.
According to police, Ms. Maria Caceres-Segovia, 89, was last seen in the woo block of Woodside Avenue in Newark's North Ward at around 8:40 a.m.
Police say Caceres-Segovia is 5'4" tall, weighs approximately 140 pounds, has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue pants, a red jacket with flowers, and pink sandals.
Ms. Caceres-Segovia suffers from Alzheimer's and has recently had hip surgery.
