Emergency responders are on the scene of a crash that caused injuries in a section of Union Friday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the collision happened in the 1400 block of Stuyvesant (Morrison Avenue) shortly before 8 a.m.
Police say it appears that the tractor-trailer was parked when the driver of the SUV slammed into it, trapping a woman in the car.
Union firefighters were able to extricate the woman then hand her over to EMS, who transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the truck did not suffer any severe injuries according to police
The cause of the crash has not been determined.
