Jersey City Police has launched an investigation into a shooting that left a person injured at a location in the scene Sunday morning.
According to police, units were dispatched to Johnston Avenue to investigate reports of a person shot at approximately 3 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found a male suffering a non-life threatening bullet wound in his arm.
The victim was transported the short distance to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and expected to make a full recovery.
Police have not confirmed where the shooting occurred at this time.
There are no arrests reported.
