Jersey City Police officials are investigating a stabbing incident that sent three people to the hospital Monday afternoon.
According to a statement released by Jersey City Spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione, the incident happened at the laundromat on Claremont Avenue at around noon.
Spokeswoman Wallace-Scalcione said a verbal argument ended in violence when the suspect began stabbing three people with a sharp object.
According to Wallace-Scalcione the victims were transported to the hospital where they sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Jersey City Police took the suspect into custody
The investigation is ongoing.
