A 40-year-old man suffered severe injuries after he fell from a tree Thursday evening, according to Middlesex County authorities.
Police say at around 6:23 p.m., police officers went to the 100 block of Main Street after receiving reports of a person who fell out of a tree.
Units arrived and found the unconscious and unresponsive victim lying on the ground at that location.
Police say the unidentified man was transported to Robert Woods Johnson Hospital for treatment and remains in serious condition.
The incident is under investigation.
