Authorities in Mercer County are investigating a shooting that sent male to the hospital early Sunday morning.
According to police, at approximately 1:50 a.m., police were notified of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 137 Turpin Street.
Units arrived at the scene and found a male suffering a bullet wound in his leg at that location.
Police say the victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment as is expected to survive.
Two suspects were detained in the area and a weapon was recovered according to reports.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
