There were no injuries reported in a shots-fired incident that occurred in Paterson Friday afternoon.
According to police, a ShotSpotter activation alerted authorities of a shooting that occurred in the area of 40th Street and 20th Avenue shortly before 4:45 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after searching the dream, no victims were found.
Police say a dark-colored 4-door vehicle (o=possibly a Kia Optima) was observed speeding away from the scene occupied by several suspects.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
