There are severe injuries reported for one of one victim found shot in Newark's Central Ward a short time ago.
According to police, at approximately 8:34 p.m., a gunman fired multiple shots in the area of 221 Irvine Turner Boulevard.
Police say the victim was struck in the neck and is in critical condition.
EMS are rushing to the scene at the time.
Units have a crime scene established and an investigation underway. This is the second person shot on Irvine Turner Boulevard in less than three hours.
Avoid the area for the investigation.
