There were non-life threatening injuries reported in a car crash that occurred in a section of Newark's Central Ward Friday night.
According to police at approximately 9:07 p.m., firefighters and rescue crews rushed to the scene of a crash with trapped occupants at the intersection of Jones Street and 14th Avenue.
Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles involved in the collision with one person requiring extrication from one of the cars.
The victim was transported to nearby University Hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
