Police in Newark’s North Ward are investigating a shots-fired incident that caused property damaged at a housing complex in the city’s North Ward.
According to police, gunfire erupted at the Riverside Court Housing Complex on Grafton Avenue at approximately 4:40 p.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found an unoccupied car struck multiple times by bullets.
Police say about four suspects fled the scene in a newer model Jeep Cherokee.
There were no injuries reported.
