According to a statement released by police, at 4:47am, Sergeant Michael Susen, Officer Semir Celoski and Officer April Latona responded to a call of a male suspect breaking into a vehicle on the 100th block of Cliff Street.
Upon arrival, Officer Celoski spotted the male suspect at the corner of West Broadway and Burhans Avenue and ordered him to stop.
Police say the suspect was later identified as Geremy Pulinario, 19, of Passaic.
Pulinario fled and a foot pursuit ensued with the suspect jumping multiple fences.
Police officials said a perimeter was established with multiple police agencies including Passaic County Sheriff's Office, William Paterson University Police Department and the Prospect Park Police Department.
Pulinario was apprehended by the Passaic County Sheriff's Officer near the intersection of Lee Avenue and John Street and taken into custody by Haledon Police.
Pulinario was found to be wanted by the Bergen County Sheriff's Office for multiple burglaries.
Haledon Police Detective Christian Clavo led an investigation which concluded that Pulinario burglarized at least three (3) additional vehicles on Cliff Street.
Pulinario was charged with four (4) counts of Burglary, 1 count of Obstruction and 1 count of Resisting Arrest by Flight. Pulinario was charged by Haledon Police and turned over to the custody Bergen County Sheriff's Office.

Pulinario is presumed innocent unless proven guilty, beyond a reasonable doubt, in a court of law.
