According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the area of 3rd and Livingston streets shortly before 2:15 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found a male struck by bullets at that location.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment while the police continued to search for a suspect and other possible victims.
A white vehicle was observed speeding from the scene.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined.
