Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Thomas Ronaldo announce that at approximately 8:42 a.m., on today, police responded to the intersection of Route 21 North and Route 3 in the City of Clifton where a single vehicle had crashed.
A 2010 Toyota Corolla, being operated by sixty Denis Murphy, 60, of Yonkers, New York, failed to negotiate the exit ramp.
As a result of the crash Mr. Murphy was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey, where he was pronounced deceased at 9:42 a.m.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
