Police Seek the Public’s Help in Identifying Theft from Auto Suspects

Police in Newark seeks the public's help in identifying suspects wanted in connection with an incident of theft from the auto that occurred on Tuesday, March 10.

Police say at approximately midnight, a victim's vehicle, parked in the area of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. near Springfield Avenue, was burglarized.

A brown briefcase containing $900.00 and other personal property was stolen by four males who fled the scene in a gold Dodge Plymouth minivan, according to police.

Detectives investigating this incident obtained photos of the suspects and requested the public's assistance in quickly identifying them as part of this investigation.

The four individuals are described as black males in their early twenties, wearing dark clothing and each having a thin build.
