Hudson County authoritities are looking into the cause of a crash that gravely injured a motorcyclist in Jersey City Wednesday night.
According to police, the collision occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the vicinity of County Road and Tonnele Avenue.
Police say they arrived at the scene and found that the motorcyclist was severely injured after slamming into a tractor-trailer.
Jersey City Police received assistance from North Bergen authoritities in shutting down the road for the crash investigation.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office would only confirm 'grave' injuries as of late Wednesday night.
The cause of the crash has not been determined.
