Police in Newark are on the search for a suspect wanted for a stabbing that left a man injured in the city early Monday morning.
According to police, offcials at University Hospital contacted Newark Police when a man in his mid 50's entered the emergency department suffered stab wounds.
The victim told police that he was near the intersection of South 9th Street and South Orange Avenue, a suspect produced a knife and began attacking with the sharp object.
Police canvassed the area for a suspect, but no suspect was found according to reports.
The victim's injuries were not reported as life-threatening.
