Police in Newark are reporting property damage in a shots-fired incident that occurred in the city's Central Ward Sunday.
According to police, gunfire rang out in the 700 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard at approximately 7 p.m.
Police arrived and found a vehicle struck by bullets at that location.
Officers canvassed the area for injured victims but no gunshot victims existed.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
