Jersey City Police officials are investigating a shooting that injured a man at a location in the city Wednesday night.
According to police, the shooting happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Van Nostrand and Ocean avenues.
Police say upon their arrival, they found the unidentified victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds in his legs at that location.
The man was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and remained in stable condition according to reports.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation and no arrests have been reported.
