Jersey City Police Police are investigating a car theft where the suspects took the vehicle form a location in the city on Friday afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of 474 Warren Street to investigate reports of a vehicle theft.
Upon arrival, police were told that a suspect took a car that was running with keys inside at that location.
Police say the suspects crashed the car a short distance away near the Wells Fargo.
The suspect jumped into a second car with Pennsylvania plates and sped away.
Police believe the stolen vehicle had several hundred dollars inside. Police are trying to determine if the car was being valet parked during the theft.
