Hudson County firefighters battled an early house fire that ignited inside a house in Union City Monday morning.
The fast-moving blaze erupted inside a two-story house located in the 3400 block of Hudson Avenue at approximately 3:22 a.m.
Crews arrived at the scene found smoke coming from the second floor of the building and struck a second then third alarm for manpower.
Firefighters were able to get inside the home, where they knocked down the fire that traveled through the walls of the house.
One person suffered non-life threatening smoke inhalation according to reports.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
