Police in Newark are investigating a strong-armed robbery that was reported in a section of the city's West Ward on Saturday evening.
According to preliminary reports, police were notified by the victim who told them while on Boylan Street, a black male suspect exited a vehicle and robbed them for personal possessions.
Police are looking for a white Mercedes Benz that the suspect was observed fleeing the area.
There were no physical injuries reported.
