There are serious injuries reported for a person struck by a car on Route 22 in Lebanon on Friday evening.
Police say at approximately 6:10 P.M., emergency responders rushed to the Route 22 at Blossom Hill Road to investigate reports of a person struck by a car.
Units arrived and requested a medivac helicopter to the scene on a rush for the severely injured, person according to police.
Police say the victim was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center for treatment while police closed a section of the highway for the investigation.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene, according to police.
