NJ Transit Officials have confirmed that a bus driver suffered no injuries an not involved after a fight broke out on board a bus in Newark's downtown on Wednesday afternoon.
According to reports, police were called to 1060 Broad Street -Lincoln Park- to investigate a physical altercation that erupted on a bus at approximately 3:34 p.m.
Upon arrival, units requested EMS to the scene for at least one person after a physical altercation among passengers occurred.
Police say there were non-life threatening injuries for the victim and an investigation is active and ongoing.
There were no official reports of arrests.
