Police offcials in Trenton are investigating the motive behind a shooting that injured a person at a location in Trenton Monday evening.
According to reports, police were called to investigate reports of an injured person in the 50's block of Chestnut Street at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Police say upon arrival, they found the unidentified person suffering a severe stab injury in the chest at that location.
EMS transported the injured to Capital Health Regional Center for treatment, according to police.
There have been no arrests at this time.
