Police Want to Question Man for Theft of Cell Phone from Dunkin Donuts in Newark’s West Ward

Police in Newark seeks the public’s help in identifying an individual wanted for questioning in a theft that occurred on Thursday, January 23.

Police say the theft occurred at the Dunkin Donuts located in the 500 block of Irvington Avenue.

According to authorities, a cell phone was taken when the victim placed it on the counter while paying for items then exited the establishment.

Police say the suspect exited the establishment with the victim’s cell phone in his possession.

The suspect is a male with medium complexion wearing a dark jacket with a hood, dark pants, dark hat, red shirt, and dark sneakers.

Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in quickly identifying the suspect as part of this investigation.
