Police seek the public’s help in identifying a male suspect wanted in connection with a wallet theft that occurred on Saturday, January 18th.
According to a statement released by authorities, 6th Precinct Police Officers responded to a Vailsburg area residence on a call of a theft.
Police say a woman reported that her wallet had been stolen from within the residence. Authorities say a male attempted to withdraw cash from a credit card belonging to the victim at an area food market.
Police say the suspect is described as having a light complexion and wearing long dread locs that were covered with a stocking cap. He also has a full beard and mustache and was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt.
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect as part of this investigation.
