Police in Jersey City are on the search for a suspect wanted for a gunpoint robbery in a section of the city on Tuesday morning.
According to police, the incident happened at approximately 3:25 a.m. in the vicinity of 134 Winfield Avenue.
Police say a male victim was in the area when he was approached by an unidentified suspect who was armed with a gun. The suspect demanded the victim's wallet, cell phone and other personal possessions during the robbery.
According to police, the suspect fled the scene on foot and remain at-large.
There were no physical injuries reported.
