Police in Newark are on the search for an armed robbery suspect who held up a male at a location in the city Wednesday evening.
According to preliminary reports, the victim flagged down police in the area of South Orange Avenue and South 8th Street after a male suspect exited a vehicle armed with a gun and demanded personal possessions shortly before 7:25 p.m.
Police say the suspects were occupying a gold old model Dodge Caravan that had at least one other suspect inside.
There were no physical injuries reported.
