The following message is from Newark's Public Safety Director Mr. Anthony Ambrose:
“In light of the recent events and rising tensions from Iran, we have instructed all members of the Newark Department of Public Safety, including Police Officers, Firefighters and members of the Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, to be vigilant regarding any suspicious activity, especially around government buildings,”
“And we are stringently monitoring our city’s surveillance cameras for any unusual activities.”
