Police in Newark are on the search for several violent suspects who are wanted for several armed robberies in the city overnight.
According to police, the suspects are operating a vehicle with reported license plate number "Y87-MAF" and are in possession of weapons. No make or model of the car immediately available.
Police say they believe that in one of the incidents, four suspects exited a vehicle on Bryant street in the city's North Ward and began to attack a person during a robbery in the residential neighborhood.
The victim did not suffer severe injuries, according to reports.
The suspects remain at-large.
