Hudson County authorities are attempting to ascertain the exact location of a shooting that injured a male in Jersey City overnight.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of 38 Union Street to investigate reports of a person injured at around 8:40 p.m.
Officers who arrived at the scene found the victim suffering a non-life threatening gunshot injury at that location.
The victim was transported by EMS to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and is in stable condition.
Police have not released the location of the shooting at this time.
